Originally from Sri Lanka, Dr. Karunagoda earned his medical degree in 2012 and began his career as a General Practitioner in his home country. Here, he gained invaluable experience in primary care and family medicine, laying a solid foundation for his future endeavours.

In 2019, Dr. Karunagoda made the transition to Australia, where he initially served as an emergency doctor in Sydney. However, driven by his unwavering commitment to holistic patient care, he eventually found his calling as a GP in Orange, NSW. This shift allowed him to seamlessly blend his expertise in primary care with his diverse clinical background, a role he cherishes deeply.

Dr. Karunagoda has a special interest in child health, chronic disease management, and skin diseases. He takes immense pride in fostering strong doctor-patient relationships and delivering personalized care to individuals and families within his community.
