• See a Doctor urgently for an illness or injury (that is not an Emergency)
• Avoid extended wait times at ED
• An after-hours service that is open 365 days a year
• Radiology, Pathology and Pharmacy all on site for your convenience
• Urgent Care Service open 8:00am to 8:00pm everyday
• Bulkbilled

Eligibility

• Needing medical treatment in the next 2-12hrs
• Unable to get an appointment with your own GP
• Patients with an issued Medicare card or Patients who do not have a Medicare card

How it works

• Call HealthDirect to see if the Urgent Care is the right care for you, once triaged by a nurse you may be offered an appointment 1800 022 222
• Walk-ins accepted (although could incur wait times dependent on availability)

Remember: If your condition is life-threatening or an emergency, the Urgent Care Service is NOT appropriate. Life-threatening conditions that should NOT PRESENT to Urgent Care include chest pressure or pain lasting more than 10 minutes, difficulty breathing, uncontrollable bleeding, or sudden collapse.

Please note: This service does not provide consultations for Centrelink paperwork or certificates, WorkCover certificates or paperwork, RMS driver licence renewals, or mobility parking eligibility.
