Dr Perera began her medical career in Sri Lanka, where she worked as a medical officer in ophthalmology for seven years. During this time, she performed extraocular surgeries and retinal laser treatments.
Since relocating to Australia in 2017, Dr Perera has worked at Bloomfield Hospital in Orange as a CMO in psychiatry, across both acute and long-term rehabilitation wards. It was here that her passion for psychiatry developed. After transitioning into General Practice, she has continued to support patients with mental illness in the community, working closely with psychiatrists and community mental health teams. Alongside her general practice work, Dr. Perera has maintained and further developed her procedural skills, undertaking additional training in skin cancer medicine and surgery. She is highly skilled in performing skin checks and skin cancer procedures.
Dr. Perera is particularly passionate about women’s health, including antenatal and postnatal care, as well as contraception services such as Implanon insertion and removal, and IUD insertion and removal. As a mother of three, she also has a strong interest in pediatric care.
Outside of work, Dr. Perera enjoys singing, playing the piano, and cooking. She describes herself as an “exploratory cook,” with a love for preparing both Sri Lankan and international cuisines.
Dr. Anika Hani is a skilled and compassionate physician with extensive training across hospitals in Queensland. She has experience in both public and private healthcare settings, working across specialties including Medicine, Surgery, Emergency, Cardiology, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, and Mental Health.
She completed her medical degree in Bangladesh and is currently pursuing fellowship training with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr. Anika Hani is committed to delivering holistic, patient-centred care, with a special interest in women’s and children’s health, chronic disease management, and mental health. She places strong emphasis on preventive care and supporting patients throughout their health journey.
Outside of work, Dr. Anika Hani enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, as well as cooking and gardening.
Dr Hasara Maheshi is a General Practitioner who graduated from a medical faculty in Sri Lanka and brings ten years of clinical experience across a broad range of hospital specialties, including general medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, anaesthesia, intensive care and emergency.
She moved to Australia with her family in 2023 and has since worked in the Emergency Department at Campbelltown, New South Wales, gaining valuable experience in acute and comprehensive patient care.
Dr. Hasara is now commencing her career in general practice and is committed to providing holistic, patient-centred care to individuals and families.
Outside of work, Dr.Hasara enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two children.

Kerry takes a caring and practical approach, working closely with patients and families to create personalised care plans that fit into everyday life. She focuses on early intervention, prevention, and education to help people take control of their health and prevent hospital admissions.

Dr Gabrielle Staniforth is a passionate women’s health GP who champions the empowerment of women for healthier, happier lives. With over two decades of healthcare experience, initially as a Registered Nurse and now as a doctor, Dr. Gab has made a significant impact in rural healthcare in regional New South Wales.
Her expertise covers perimenopause and menopause care as well as transgender medicine. This love lead to the development of The Papillon Clinic in 2023. Dr Gab is driven by a passion to talk about the tricky things in health – not scared to dive into awkward topics, she has the ability to put her patients and audience at ease with her easy going and friendly approach to delivering health care and health education.

Megan is a highly experienced Audiologist with over 20 years in the field. Her expertise goes beyond traditional audiology, having specialised in hearing aid fitting and paediatric assessments. In her most recent role with an international manufacturing company, Megan played a key role in product design, clinical implementation, and training audiologists on the proper use of audiological equipment. Over the past decade, she has been dedicated to educating audiologists on best practices and techniques.
Megan is excited to bring her extensive knowledge and skills to the Central West community, offering comprehensive diagnostic audiometry and vestibular assessments to ensure better hearing and balance care for all.

Physiotherapist
Simon Lloyd is a dedicated physiotherapist with nearly seven years of experience serving the Orange community. Growing up in Bathurst in the Central West, Simon developed a deep connection to the area. He pursued his studies at the University of Sydney and gained valuable experience working at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) before returning to the region.
Currently, Simon continues to work in Orange three days a week at the Bloomfield Medical Group, while also serving patients in Bathurst and teaching at Charles Sturt University one day a week. He has built strong relationships within the medical community and has established a solid client base.
Simon specialises in physical activity and exercise prescription for the rehabilitation of various conditions, particularly tendon rehabilitation, ACL and shoulder injuries, rotator cuff injuries, respiratory management, and neurosurgical rehab. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Simon has participated in many sports over the years and continues to enjoy staying active whenever he can.
